How to Use the Free Windows HDR Calibration Software
If you are using a Windows PC with an HDR-capable display, you can use the Windows HDR Calibration tool to calibrate your monitor. This can improve the color and brightness accuracy of your display. To calibrate your monitor, you must first download the app and install it on your system.
This is a free application from Microsoft that helps to optimize the color accuracy of your display. It works by adjusting the saturation of colors on your computer's screen. You can also use the app to adjust the brightness and contrast of your screen. The HDR Calibration app can be found in the Microsoft Store.
Using the Windows HDR Calibration app is a quick and easy way to fix color accuracy and stability problems on your PC display. Once you have downloaded the application, you can launch it from the All apps, Display, and HDR sections of your Windows settings.
Before running the Windows HDR Calibration application, make sure that your monitor is HDR-capable and that you have an HDR-supported GPU. Otherwise, the app may not run properly.
The application offers three test patterns: a grayscale, an RGB pattern, and a color saturation pattern. Choose one of the patterns to run a test on your PC. When the test is complete, click Next.
In the Color Saturation pattern, you will be presented with a slider at the bottom of the screen. Depending on your screen's characteristics, you may need to move this slider to a new level.
